The World’s Last Popeyes Buffet Is A Fried Chicken Lover’s Paradise

If you really, and I mean REALLY, love that chicken from Popeyes, there’s a location you need to check out. This particular restaurant is home to the last Popeyes buffet in the world.

According to Hot 107.9, two of the three former Popeyes buffets are no longer operating. Thus, this location, in Lafayette, Louisiana, is the only spot left to fill up on as much fried chicken as you want.

We’ve taken a look through social media photos of the buffet, and man, does it look delicious.

Apparently, you get your choice of spicy or original chicken plus any sides you want. Biscuits, red beans and rice, mashed potatoes, and a host of other sides are available. Additionally, the Popeyes buffet also used to have macaroni and cheese, spaghetti, and tacos. However, after these sides came off the official menu, they also left the buffet.

Regardless, my mouth is watering just gazing at the photos of this last Popeyes buffet. I’m definitely heading to Lafayette on a road trip soon to check this out for myself.
