McDonald’s New Pokémon Happy Meal Could Spark Another Frenzy

McDonald’s and Pokémon are back for their annual linkup, and this go-round, they’ve cooked up some truly must-catch collectibles.

This year’s Happy Meal comes in one of three Pokémon-themed boxes featuring Pikachu, Umbreon, or Torchic. Each meal includes a miniature Pokémon-inspired Happy Meal Box toy and two Pokémon Trading Card Game cards. Collectors can hunt down 15 different toy designs and 15 different cards. Here’s the full lineup:

With Pokémon-shaped Happy Meal Box toys joining the mix, this year’s drop could stir up even more chaos than last year’s, which sparked reseller mania and even physical altercations.

The new McDonald’s x Pokémon Happy Meal will roll out worldwide at participating locations while supplies last. Here’s the global release schedule:

November 2026: Australia, Canada (except Quebec), Fiji, France, New Zealand, Spain, and USA

Quebec is the lone exception to the new Happy Meal rollout. Instead, customers there will receive a Pokémon sticker and a booster pack containing four Pokémon TCG cards.
