This Coffee Stand Is Powered By A Cybertruck

The polarizing Tesla Cybertruck is always turning heads and eliciting pointed commentary wherever it goes. And that looks to be amplified with news of a coffee pop-up in San Jose, California that literally operates from the vehicle.

Moonwake Coffee Roasters is shaking up the coffee scene with a unique twist — their coffee pop-up is powered by a Tesla Cybertruck. This innovative concept combines the power of a true commercial espresso machine with the flexibility to engage customers in an open environment.

The coffee pop-up offers more than just great coffee. With a Tesla Cybertruck boasting 123kWh and 240V power, they can deliver over “30 hours of shot slinging, milk steaming, and obsessively dialed-in pour-overs,” ensuring a consistently excellent customer experience.

Unlike traditional food trucks, Moonwake Coffee Roasters has no walls or noisy generators, allowing customers to engage with the coffee-making process and enjoy their coffee without distractions. The truck’s modular design, in collaboration with Voltage Coffee Supply and coffee YouTuber, Brian Quan, allows them to test various espresso equipment and workflows, sharing their findings with a larger audience.

But it’s not just about the coffee. Moonwake Coffee Roasters believes this form of a coffee pop-up is all about fun. Though they admit that this approach is “crazy, ridiculous, and out there,” they invite everyone to enjoy the experience together.

Catch Moonwake Coffee Roasters at Cupertino Farmers’ Market on Sundays 9am-1pm, or one at one of their pop-ups.
