Craig Robinson Reveals Just How Much Food Actors Get On TV Sets

Svedka

Craig Robinson is someone you know, even if you weren’t paying attention to his memorably hilarious and zany characters in classic shows like The Office and Brooklyn Nine-Nine or movies like Pineapple Express and Hot Tub Time Machine. In recent years, Robinson has stayed just as booked and busy voicing characters in animated projects like Toy Story 5, Sausage Party and The Bad Guys, picking up a completely new generation of fans along the way.

At the same time, Robinson has been on a personal food and health journey, trading many of his past indulgences for more responsible choices. Intent on staying trim, Robinson recently caught up with Foodbeast to talk about what excites him about food these days, what’s in his green room, the surprisingly elaborate meals served on TV sets and the Chicago delicacies he grew up eating.
