Chipotle Is Giving Away Free Double Protein For One Day Only

Chipotle is giving you a very good reason to show up hungry on Thursday.

On August 27, the chain is offering free double protein on any eligible entrée in the U.S. and Canada when customers order through the Chipotle app or website and use code PROTEIN at checkout.

The one-day deal applies to burritos, bowls and salads, and customers can double up on their choice of meat or Sofritas at no additional charge. You’ll have to order digitally, though, as the promotion won’t apply to purchases made in restaurants or through third-party delivery apps.

The timing also gives Chipotle Honey Chicken fans one last chance to go big before the limited-time protein leaves the menu. Made with grilled chicken marinated with chipotle peppers and finished with honey, the sweet-and-spicy option is currently in its final week.

“Fans have made their love for Chipotle Honey Chicken clear, so we couldn’t send it back to the vault without one last celebration,” Stephanie Perdue, Chipotle’s senior vice president of brand marketing, said in a statement.

The offer only lasts August 27 and can be redeemed once per eligible transaction while supplies last. Tacos, quesadillas, kids’ meals and Chipotle’s High Protein Cups don’t qualify.
