Panda Express Launches Beyond Orange Chicken Nationwide

Following several successful regional launches, national Asian restaurant concept Panda Express has decided to bring back its Beyond The Original Orange Chicken. Available while supplies last, the plant-based take was a collaboration with Beyond Meat to “capture the irresistibly crunchy texture and flavor” of The Original Orange Chicken.

As the first Asian restaurant concept to serve Beyond Meat nationwide, this continued partnership highlights Panda’s dynamic ability to recreate plant-based takes on popular classics while retaining quality flavor. This modern take on Panda’s iconic Orange Chicken is wok-tossed in that brand’s signature sweet, spicy and tangy orange sauce.

First introduced as a limited launch in Southern California and New York City in 2021, Beyond The Original Orange Chicken sold out in less than two weeks. In the first day alone, Panda chefs wok-fired 1,300 pounds of the new plant-based option to keep up with high demand. Following its successful initial launch, Panda’s latest fan-favorite was added to 70 locations in ten markets.

Starting September 26th, to celebrate its national launch, guests who purchase a Beyond The Original Orange Chicken bowl online using the code ‘BEYONDOC’ will receive another free bowl featuring their entrée of choice.

If that wasn’t enough, students heading back-to-school can experience the new plant-based option at one of 10 college campus Panda Express Recharge Station pop-ups. Experience a well-deserved study break with free samples of Beyond The Original Orange Chicken, exclusive prizes, along with fun and relaxing activities.
