Why The Taliban Will Never Touch A McDonald’s Big Mac

The Taliban may already be considered one of the most evil terrorist groups on the planet, and to make matters worse, they want everyone to know they REALLY hate McDonald’s too.

When the Pakistani city of Quetta opened its first ever McDonald’s, a long time Taliban spokesperson Ehsanullah Ehsan attended the event (for reasons unknown) and started running his mouth about McDonald’s, saying the Taliban doesn’t even consider the iconic fast-food restaurant, “food.”

Maybe Ehsan saw the pink-slime footage from a few years ago, or maybe he’s just used to eating military issued MRE (meals-ready-to-eat) or Top Ramen, because there’s little access to “real” food in the rural Taliban camps. Either way, no solider of his will be feasting on a McPakistan Chicken anytime soon.

While attending the event, Ehsan spoke to reporters and explained that he and the Taliban would refrain from pulling in the drive-thru — even if they’re in a rush.

“Yes, I know McDonald’s and its food, but we will never eat it. We don’t even consider it as a food,” Ehsan told NBC News. “This isn’t our food … We live in the rough, tough mountainous areas and need energy and power to fight against the enemy.”

Thanks for your two cents, Ehsan. But maybe next time, stick to Twitter and “@” McDonald’s directly.
