Humpty Dumpty Was Never an Egg and Neither are These Cake Pops

Think about the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme really quick and come back when you realize that nowhere in it is Humpty ever explicitly called an egg. Don’t worry, I’ll wait.

Now before you decide to throw a ruined-childhood B.F., let’s rap. No, Humpty is not necessarily an egg, but in this situation, it actually works out better that way, because these Humpty Dumpty Cake Pops weren’t necessarily made for Easter, nor are they really even eggs. Nope, as egg-static and egg-cellent as these little guys look, they’re actually just candy-coated pieces of dough painted to look like our favorite hapless ovum.

Still, an egg-shaped, but non-egg treat that looks totally adorable and won’t ever break? Sounds like the perfect Easter egg hunt treat to me.
