Uncrustables Is Adding Blueberry To Its PB&J Lineup

During a recent investor presentation, The J.M. Smucker Company previewed what’s coming for its brands in 2026, and buried in the slides was a detail that sent PB&J fans into a spiral: Uncrustables is rolling out a brand-new flavor this spring.

It’s called Burstin’ Blueberry, and it pairs peanut butter with blueberry spread for a handheld sandwich that clocks in at 12 grams of protein. Yes, your childhood lunch staple just entered the crowded protein group chat.

Smucker also revealed something surprisingly practical: Uncrustables won’t just live in the freezer anymore. Moving forward, all varieties can be kept in the fridge for up to five days, which feels like a small change that might actually matter if you’re tired of playing the defrosting waiting game.

The company noted that Uncrustables continues to “over-index” with households with kids and Millennials, which honestly tracks. These things already live in gym bags, office freezers, and late-night snack rotations everywhere.

While Smucker highlighted breakfast flavors like Up & Apple and Bright-Eyed Berry, Burstin’ Blueberry feels like the real headline here. It’s familiar, nostalgic, and just different enough to make people curious.

No exact launch date yet, just a spring window.

Which raises the real question: are we (hopefully) entering the Uncrustables remix era?
