Watch Gordon Ramsay Make Perfect Buttermilk Fried Chicken

Any time Gordon Ramsay supplies a recipe for one of our favorite foods, there’s reason for celebration.

The celebrity chef uploaded a YouTube video recipe for buttermilk fried chicken with sweet pickled celery, and the end result will make you want to punch through the screen to grab a piece.

In a bit of a twist, it’s nice seeing Ramsay cook with his son and being a sweetheart, instead of yelling at a poor cook.

Ramsay begins by prepping the pickled celery, boiling a pot of sugar, peppercorns, mustard seeds, cloves, salt, and white wine vinegar. He then pours the boiled mixture into a mason jar of chopped celery and lets it cool.

Then comes the main event, as Ramsay marinates his dark chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and buttermilk. He then rolled the buttermilk in flour mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika. He completely covers the chicken in the flour and gets ready for the frying process.

After all that prep-work, heat up a pan with 2 centimeters of cooking oil and let it fry for about 25 minutes.

Must be nice to have Gordon Ramsay be your dad and cook bangers every night. We can only imagine.
