Pepsi’s Latest Product Is Meant To Be Rubbed All Over Your Body
Pepsi is heading somewhere you probably didn’t expect: your shower.
The soda giant has teamed up with beauty brand Glamlite on its first-ever body care collection, transforming two of its familiar flavor profiles into products designed for your bathroom instead of your fridge.
The limited lineup includes:
- Vanilla Slushie Body Scrub ($12), made with mineral exfoliants and glycerin.
- Wild Cherry Body Wash ($12), formulated with niacinamide, shea butter, and a fruit-acid complex.
Both products launch first through TikTok Shop on July 31 before expanding further.
While the collection might sound like another novelty brand collaboration, Glamlite says it’s been developing body care for nearly five years. Founder Giselle Hernandez said the company tested more than 300 product samples and explored over 3,000 fragrance variations before landing on Wild Cherry and Vanilla. Pepsi ultimately approached Glamlite to bring the collaboration to life.
Instead of simply slapping its logo onto another product, Pepsi translated two of its most recognizable flavors into fragrance, giving fans the chance to smell like Wild Cherry or Vanilla Slushie rather than drink them.
The launch also continues a growing trend of food and beverage brands branching into beauty. In recent years, collaborations inspired by everything from hot sauce to candy have turned familiar flavors into lip glosses, perfumes, and skincare.
Whether people actually want to smell like Pepsi is another question entirely—but that’s part of what makes the collaboration interesting. It’s unusual enough to spark conversation before anyone even steps into the shower.
And according to Glamlite, the partnership won’t stop here. A Pepsi-inspired makeup collection is already in the works.
