Wholesome Choice: Irvine

If you’ve been reading our publication for a decent amount of time, you might have stumbled across us some of our adventures where we headed to Wholesome Choice in Irvine, CA. Everytime is better than the last, and the reason we keep writing about it and bringing it up is because we get something different every time we go. This time around, we were asked to stop taking pictures while inside their establishment. Intrigued? Of course we kept taking pictures, find out more after the jump:

Again, if you haven’t been to Wholesome Choice or to grocery/specialty stores like it, their setup is quite interesting. Basically, it’s a large market somewhat reminiscent of Whole Foods, but with a little more homey, Mediterranean vibe. Regardless, 1/4 of their store is dedicated to an amazing food-court style setup, but instead of the normal shoddy food court fair you may be accustomed to at certain shopping malls, these guys have international cuisine, all ready to go for your fast food pleasure!

Unfortunately, a few pictures in, we were asked not to take any more pictures. We didn’t have any business cards on us at the time, so we felt like idiots anyways. Regardless, if anyone from Wholesome Choice is reading this now, definitely rest assured we are doing nothing but plugging your awesome spot! Anyways, onto the eats:

Those were our last shots before being asked to stop lurking their food. Oh well…

So basically what you were just witness to was my chicken pad thai and seafood curry, Taylor’s Seafood Medley, BBQ chicken and half/half chowmein/fried rice, a bottle of Squirt, my fruity-tuity wallet, and Taylor’s cream puff and berry tart dessert. Are you down to get all that type of food in one place? Then hit up our good friends (the food is too good and too fairly priced to get mad over them not letting us take pictures!) at the Wholesome Choice! Oh yeah, nice photography Taylor!
