This Wild Lunar New Year Event Is Literally All-You-Can-Eat Fine Dining

All-you-can-eat usually lives in buffet territory. Steam tables. Endless noodles. Maybe soft-serve if you’re lucky.

But on February 26, Level 8 in Downtown Los Angeles is flipping that idea on its head with a one-night-only Lunar New Year Night Market that turns upscale dining into a progressive, AYCE experience.

If you’re unfamiliar, Level 8 is a massive eight-venue food and nightlife complex in Downtown LA. For this Lunar New Year celebration, every concept on the floor will be serving chef-driven dishes, allowing guests to roam freely and eat across all eight venues instead of committing to a single restaurant.

Yes, unlimited. And yes, it’s actually elevated.

The event is led by Chef Jasper Lynn of Rosalynn Supper Club, with highlights including Wagyu with Sichuan chimichurri and fire-roasted Hokkaido scallops with white truffle chili crunch from Maison Kasai.

Beyond the food, the night leans into cultural celebration with a Mahjong lounge hosted by Wan Collective, local AAPI artisan vendors, and a lion dance moving through the venue by East Wind Foundation for Youth.

But the real headline here is the format.

All-you-can-eat fine dining isn’t something you see every day. Instead of piling plates high, this setup encourages discovery: small plates, multiple kitchens, and the freedom to explore without choosing just one experience.

Level 8’s Lunar New Year Night Market runs Thursday, February 26, starting at 6 PM, and goes late.

Eight venues. Unlimited plates. One night only.

Tickets for this 21+ event can be purchased here.
