This Gorgeous Wedding Cake is Made Out of Cheez-Its

What do you get when you put a Top Chef winner and craft beer consultant together? Peanut butter-covered Cheez-Its and bacon buttercream, apparently.

Just this past weekend, Top Chef season 4 champ Stephanie Izard married craft beer consultant Gary Valentine in a lovely culinary affair probably best described as fittingly #foodie.

According to People, the reception menu was stocked with sumptuous dishes like red wine braised short ribs, roasted black cod, rosemary potato gratin, grilled broccoli with bacon vinaigrette, roasted golden beets with Manchego, and balsamic vinegar pearls. The cake was still pretty cool though.

Created by Mathew Rice of Chicago’s Girl & the Goat, the multi-tiered masterpiece included one layer made of chocolate cake filled with chocolate and peanut butter-covered Cheez-Its, and another made of strawberry Nesquick and chocolate marble, covered with bacon buttercream.

Mr. and Mrs. Valentine, our inner children salute you.
