This Food Porn-Peddling Media Company Is Hiring Interns, Apply Now

A long time ago, when Captain America: The First Avenger hit theaters, I was an intern at Foodbeast. Now, as Captain America: Civil War hits theaters, I'm writing this as a full-time staff member.

If you love food and have a passion for the written word, video, or marketing, you're in luck. Foodbeast is looking for some interns for the summer 2016 semester. I just had to put in the time. Some passion doesn't hurt, either.

Along with college credit, you'll get some hands-on experience in the world of food and many opportunities to see your name in a Foodbeast byline.

Currently, we have openings in our editorial, marketing and video departments. You can check out the links below to see which one you or a friend might best be suited for:

Editorial: What's New

You will be working closely with our “What’s New?” editor, who covers topics ranging from fast food and trending dishes, to recipes and health. This is a fast moving, fun and evolving position.

Editorial: What's Up

You will be working closely with our “What’s Up” editor, who covers food topics ranging from celebrities, art, social media trends and bizarre happenings. This is a fast-moving, fun and evolving section that often requires a snarky, care free voice that’s still wrapped around a solid journalistic foundation.

Editorial: Feel Good

The position is most suited to someone with an enthusiastic and tenacious spirit. Candidate will know when to have fun and when to keep their head down and get things done. Subject matter of the Feel Good candidate will cover beer, cannabis and kitchen products.

You will be working closely with our Editors, Director of Video and Editor-In-Chief to maintain our industry-leading social growth. Foodbeast currently speaks to over 3 Million+ social followers daily, and the ideal candidate will want to grow their experience with Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and Mailing Lists. The candidate will be passionate, strategic and hands-on shadowing our audience growth efforts and have the freedom to implement methods of their own.

The Video Production Intern will be working with our Foodbeast Video Creative Director to create original, engaging and entertaining content for our YouTube and Facebook channels. You will work side-by-side with our editorial team to create food video content, from quick recipe creations to food news videos and everything in between.
