Shake Shack Is Dropping A New Hot Chicken Sandwich Soon And We Can’t Wait

We already know that Shake Shack goes above and beyond when it comes to quality across their entire menu. They were the only place not dedicated to fried chicken to make our top 10 list for fast food fried chicken spots because of the TLC that goes into their perfect version of what most places treat as a throwaway item. Shake Shack’s newest take on fried chicken appears to maintain that same level of respect to the crispy bird game.

The East Coast burger institution is hopping on the spicy chicken bandwagon with their brand new Hot Chick’n sandwich. Shake Shack is turning up the heat on their normal buttermilk fried chicken breast with a dusting of guajillo chili and cayenne pepper blend. Louisiana hot sauce slaw and dill pickles complement this simple but fiery sandwich.

If you’re hoping to get a taste of it, you can find it at any Shake Shack not in an airport or stadium starting August 1st. Hopefully, when we go try it for the first time, the line’s not as long as it is at Howlin’ Rays.
