Side By Side Comparison Of School Lunches In Japan And The US

Sure, it looks like this video was made specifically to highlight how terrible school lunches are in the US, but don’t let the healthy agenda turn you off. It’s pretty interesting how Japan puts so much emphasis on nutrition education, while we grew up just waiting for pizza slice day on the monthly lunch calendar.

In japan, kids are taught how to cook healthy meals, while we often relied on packaged Taco Snacks and Doritos.

Maybe it wouldn’t be the worst idea for schools to teach kids how to cook. As long as there’s enough balance that they can still enjoy some heart-stopping Animal-Style Fries.
