KFC Spain is promoting its new fried chicken döner kebab by turning restaurant signs into 12-meter-tall rotating kebab spits.

At select locations, the chain replaced traditional signage with massive rotating structures that mimic vertical rotisseries. Each one weighs over 1,200 kilograms and spins continuously, wrapped in sculpted polyurethane foam designed to look like KFC’s signature breaded chicken.

The stunt marks KFC Spain’s push into the döner category with a limited-time menu that includes fried chicken döner kebab, dürüm wraps, falafel, and fries with kebab sauce. The packaging leans into classic kebab shop visuals, making it clear this isn’t just another chicken drop.

To support the launch, the campaign includes a TV spot featuring a KFC employee standing atop one of the rotating structures, slowly spinning above the restaurant while announcing the new kebab offering. The rollout also extends across digital ads and nightlife placements, pushing the visual even further into public spaces.

The menu runs through March 30 at participating KFC locations across Spain, as well as through the brand’s app and website.

With KFC doing this in Spain and launching a Pickle Mania menu in the UK, it makes me think when the brand is going to start doing some of that fun stuff out here in the US.
