The Peppercorn BLT Whopper Is Burger King’s Latest Fan-Created Burger

Burger King is adding another fan-created build to its lineup with the Peppercorn BLT Whopper, landing nationwide on March 30.

The new Whopper stacks a quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty with peppercorn mayo, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and cheese, all on Burger King’s toasted sesame seed bun that rolled out earlier this year. It’s a straightforward build, but the peppercorn mayo gives it a sharper, more savory edge than your usual BLT situation.

The Peppercorn BLT Whopper comes out of Burger King’s “Whopper by You” platform, which launched last July and lets customers submit their own burger ideas for a shot at making the menu. Since then, the chain has already turned several fan creations into real items, including the Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper, Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper, BBQ Brisket Whopper, and Crispy Onion Whopper.

The platform plays directly into Burger King’s broader “There’s A New King And It’s You” campaign, where the brand hands more control to customers and leans into crowd-driven menu ideas. According to the company, the approach has helped bring in more Gen Z and women customers who want a say in what shows up on menus.

Burger King plans to keep the momentum going with more Whopper by You drops throughout the year, while also expanding into drinks, including the return of Watermelon Lemonade alongside the new burger.
