Saved By The Bell-Inspired Pop-Up Diner Is Now In L.A., And The Details Are Crazy

If you didn't watch Saved By The Bell, you probably didn't grow up in the '90s. It was a classic TV show that gave millennials a glimpse as to what high school would look like.

In honor of Zack Morris and the gang, die-hard fans will have a chance to dine at a "Saved by the Max" popup in West Hollywood, California.

The popup was a hit in Chicago, and is now making its way to Los Angeles, where it will be hosting brunches and dinners through Dec. 31, 2018.

Of course, the name itself is a perfect ode to the show's popular after-school hangout spot, The Max, but the popup's detail goes beyond that, offering several Easter eggs.

The menu is no joke, being put together by Michelin starred Executive Chef Brian Fisher.

You don't just get to try one specialty gimmick item, they're actually putting together a full menu stacked with "AC Sliders," "Mac and Screech," "Mr. Belding's Fries," "The Bayside Burger," and many more items, for a total of 23 appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts.

Peep the preview below, and get yourself to The Max ASAP. If you're a 90s kid, you don't want to miss this one.  Reservations for the "Second Semester" start May 4:

How can you see this setup and not be excited? It looks just like The Max, and you can actually eat there, like the crew used to.

Thankfully we're not in any trouble, but Mr. B might get mad if you get ketchup on his desk. Aside from The Max, guests can enjoy a meal in Mr. Belding's office as well.

The good old locker room, fully equipped with Bayside jerseys, history books, and even Jessie's caffeine pills, for those hardcore fans who remember that uncomfortable episode.

Selfie With The Cast, Kind Of

There is a cool little section with the gang for you to get a selfie with, obviously.

They really went all out to give fans an experience to remember, and hit them with the type of nostalgia that could only come from a Morris "time out" that allows the surroundings to be fully appreciated.
