Nutella Ice Cream Is Finally Here
Nutella finally made the jump from topping toast to the freezer aisle.
After decades of people freezing jars, blending DIY shakes, and generally trying to force the spread into dessert form themselves, Nutella ice cream has officially arrived nationwide.
Wells Enterprises, the company behind the rollout, says this marks the first frozen dessert made with actual Nutella spread, not just a hazelnut-chocolate approximation trying to coast off the name. The ice cream folds Nutella swirls and layers directly into the base, aiming to deliver the same flavor people have been scraping from jars since the 1960s.
The launch comes in two formats: a 14-ounce tub for around $4.36 and single-serve cones sold in four-packs starting at roughly $5.47.
This feels overdue.
Nutella has spent years living adjacent to dessert culture without fully entering it. It’s been spread on crepes, stuffed into doughnuts, blended into milkshakes, and shoved into every “secret menu” concoction imaginable. Turning it into ice cream was always the logical next move. The bigger surprise is how long it took.
To celebrate the rollout, Nutella is also running “Freezer Fridays” through May, giving fans a chance to win free ice cream through social media giveaways.
With Nutella Peanut recently arriving and now Nutella Ice Cream, the brand seems to be on a roll in 2026.
