Forget Paris Fashion Week, escargot, and the Eiffel Tower—Disneyland Paris is bringing the real magic with its latest dining experience. La Forêt Secrète, nestled inside the newly reimagined Disneyland Hotel, blends fine dining with Disney enchantment. Helmed by Michelin-starred Chef Jean Imbert, the restaurant serves up a whimsical menu inspired by classic Disney stories, all within a beautifully immersive, forest-themed setting.

Chef Imbert, a Disney fan since childhood, has created a menu featuring exquisite French dishes inspired by iconic Disney movies. “I have a very special connection with Disneyland Paris because all the magic of the films that I dream about comes to life here. This restaurant is strongly influenced by my childhood memories, particularly when I would come to the park, as well as my favorite films. I am thrilled to contribute to showcasing French gastronomy in Europe’s number one tourist destination,” shared Chef Jean Imbert.

Lucky diners will kick off their meal with seafood inspired by The Little Mermaid and the “Mrs. Potts’ Brew” starter from Beauty and the Beast. The experience continues with dishes like “Prince Ali’s Tagine,” a spiced poultry entrée inspired by Aladdin, and of course, “Remy’s Ratatouille,” a tribute to the beloved Parisian-set film. Imbert’s Michelin-starred menu isn’t just for adults—he’s made sure the kids’ menu is just as magical. Young guests can enjoy playful, interactive options like “Fairy Godmother’s Soup” and “The Lantern Festival Fish and Chips,” inspired by Tangled.

However, the desserts at La Forêt Secrète are where the creativity really shines, thanks to Imbert’s partnership with Pastry Chef, Axel Michenau. Guests can enjoy treats like “Mickey’s Soufflé” and “Lost art shortbread,” each designed with inspiration drawn from classic Disney stories.

The restaurant’s décor brings the enchanted forest theme to life with a stunning chandelier, intricate bird motifs, and lush green accents in shades ranging from sage to emerald, creating a serene atmosphere. Thoughtful details like Bernardaud dishware and Christofle silverware add a touch of elegance, blending sophistication with a playful, storybook charm.

Reservations for this unique Disney dining adventure are limited (to say the least), so fans of both Disney and gourmet dining should book their visit soon. We can only expect La Forêt Secrète to be a delightful combination of story-telling and fine dining, capturing the essence of beloved Disney tales with every bite from its wonderful course offerings.
