Tokyo Has A Sightseeing Bus With An Actual Sushi Conveyor Belt
Ever dreamed about sightseeing around Tokyo on a double-decker bus while eating sushi? Well, your dream is about to come true this fall because this sightseeing bus has an actual sushi conveyor belt, letting you eat while taking in the city views.
How does this work?
According to SoraNews24, the first floor of the Sushi Bus houses a kitchen, where staff prepare sushi before an elevator brings the food up to the second floor. Staff then place each dish on a functional conveyor belt that runs conveniently alongside passengers’ seats, letting riders enjoy the 70-minute tour with all-you-can-eat sushi.
The Sushi Bus has been in development for more than two years. Beginning October 10, however, it will welcome 20 passengers at a time, finally giving sushi lovers and tourists the best of both worlds.
I seriously need one of these in every new city I visit.
