Pringles Finally Fixed Its Biggest Dipping Problem
The problem with Pringles, which are arguably the most perfectly shaped chips for dipping ever invented, is that they crumble to bits whenever you plunge them into dips. Finally, at long last, the days of turning your dip into a graveyard of Pringles bits are over.
Pringles Dippers have just entered the chat, marking the brand’s first-ever thicker, sturdier and wavier crisp. Specially designed for dipping, the new scoopier line arrives in three flavors:
- Pringles Dippers Original: The classic salty, savory Pringles Original flavor, now in a thicker, sturdier crisp designed to scoop and hold your favorite dip, whether you’re a light-dip or heavy-dip kind of person.
- Pringles Dippers French Onion: Savory French onion flavor with sweet caramelized onion notes and a rich, tangy finish.
- Pringles Dippers Bacon Cheddar: Bold cheddar cheese flavor with smoky bacon notes in a sturdier crisp built for loading up with your favorite dip or eating straight from the can.
“We know it can be frustrating…,” starts Eileen Flaherty-Yao, Senior Director of Salty, Mars Snacking North America, in the press release.
Well, you don’t say, Eileen. We’ve been seated and ready to dip away for a while now. We just wonder what took y’all so long to thicken things up?
The new Pringles Dippers will start hitting shelves nationwide in September.
