McDonald’s Has An Entire Banh Mi Menu In Vietnam

We’ve seen how drastically McDonald’s differs in other countries compared to the United States. Japan had the Giga Big Mac, France had a variety of fresh baked goods and Italy had a prosciutto breakfast sandwich.

So what makes McDonald’s Vietnam so different? A Banh Mi Sandwich menu.

International fast food blogger Traveling McDs posted a picture of a McCafe menu at what appears to be a McDonald’s location in Ho Chi Minh City on Twitter.

The menu featured three sandwiches under the heading Banh Mi McCafe. There was a Ham Cheese Baguette with veggies, a Grilled Pork Baguette and a Ham Cheese Baguette with Round Egg.

While the fast food variation probably doesn’t taste as good as the authentic Vietnamese staple, it’s cool to see Banh Mi get some love.
