Kraft is the latest to join the protein parade. The company has announced PowerMac, a new product that pumps its iconic mac and cheese with 17 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber per serving. Kraft PowerMac took a year to develop and was crafted to deliver the same cheesy taste you know and love, with added nutritional benefits.

“We developed PowerMac for consumers who want more from their everyday meals without compromising on great taste. PowerMac delivers the benefits that fans are craving in a way that only Kraft Mac & Cheese can; with a product that outperforms similar offerings in taste, while offering more food at a better price,” said Ashleigh Edmonds, Senior Director of Marketing for Kraft Mac & Cheese.

The new better-for-you mac is launching with two flavors, Original and White Cheddar, and will be hitting retailers nationwide in April at just $2.99 per box.
