Kentucky Fried Chicken Has a Kentucky Pot Pie…in Australia

If there was any place on Earth that would be the best fit for a Kentucky Pie, it’d have to be Australia. Wait, does that sound right? Anyways, that’s what they have though.

Kentucky Fried Chicken Australia has just released a US-inspired pie named after the the state where the fried chicken sensation began. For some reason, it’s only available in Australia and not so much in the country of its namesake. Hey, at least we still have Double Downs.

The Kentucky pie is stuffed with pieces of chicken breast and filled with gravy and mashed potatoes. It’s then baked inside a pastry pie crust.

A returning favorite in Australia is the Zinger Pie, made with spicy marinated chicken breast and gravy. It’s available for 3.95 AUD ($3.28 US) for an individual pie and 7.95 AUD ($6.61 US) for a combo.

The two pies will be available at all participating KFC Australia locations while supplies last.
