Jägermeister Launched Its Own Fighting Game

Major fast food brands and video games have a long history. In 1989, Domino’s released “Avoid The Noid,” a computer game where you play as a pizza delivery boy who must avoid pizza-eating “Noids.” McDonald’s followed suit in 1992 with “McKids,” and with “Treasure Land Adventures” in 1993. And, Burger King released a series of X-BOX video games during the 2000s. Those are just a few examples of fast food’s extensive video game history.

Jägermeister breaks that mold as an alcohol brand tossing its hat into the gaming ring with the announcement of “Jägermeister’s Ice Cold Justice,” a button-mash-style fighting game in the vein of Street Fighter. Players are tasked with defeating the antagonists Sleepy Sal, The Wall, Swanky Pete, Jukebox Hog, and Mr. Grump as they work to prevent you from enjoying ice-cold Jägermeister shots with friends.

“We’re incredibly proud of the response to our Call of the Cold campaign, and we created Ice Cold Justice as a way for fans to step directly into the action,” said Cindy Wang Simms, CMO of Jägermeister US. “The Stag isn’t just our legendary icon; it’s also a symbol of our uncompromising mission to ensure Jägermeister shots are always ice cold. Now players everywhere can join in on the battle to keep the celebration alive and unforgettable.”

Top players will have the chance to win prizes, including gaming consoles, a custom cornhole set, and event tickets. Ice Cold Justice is now available to play on Jägermeister.com.
