Denny's: $2 $4 $6 $8 Value Menu

What usually hinders restaurants against other typical QSR’s is this recent (or not-so-recent) battle of the value menu. Burger King’s doing it. McDonald’s been doing it. Carl’s Jr. refuses to do it (officially). But starting April 3rd, 2010, Denny’s restaurants nationwide will introduce a new $2 $4 $6 $8 Value Menu. This menu will be available all day, every day, and will mark the first-ever type of variety value menu for the restaurant chain. The 16-item value menu sets out to provide an alternative to fast food establishments by way of a nice variety of everyday affordable menu items.

The rollout of this menu follows a few different successful tests in limited markets across the country (since late December). Denny’s CEO and President, Nelson Marchioli hopes that “The new $2 $4 $6 $8 offering redefines the concept of traditional value menus, moving consumers beyond the idea that fast food is their only affordable option.
