HEINZ has announced the first-of-its-kind fry box equipped with a built-in ketchup compartment. Dubbed the “HEINZ Dipper,” the company wanted to give French fry lovers even more reason to enjoy their favorite snack, so it created a way to conveniently dip on the go without accidentally staining your clothes with ketchup.

“After spotlighting the uncanny resemblance between fry boxes and our iconic HEINZ Keystone globally, we wanted to take the next bold step: redesigning the age-old fry box to work even harder for our HEINZ lovers everywhere,” says Nina Patel, Vice President, Global Heinz Brand at the Kraft Heinz Company. “As more eating occasions happen away from home in drive-thrus and on-the-go moments, the HEINZ Dipper is a fun and relevant way to innovate to meet fans where they are and strengthen our role in their everyday lives.”

HEINZ has launched the innovative Dipper box at restaurants and sports stadiums in eleven countries, including Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Portugal, the Philippines, Thailand, China, Kuwait, and six cities within the U.S. The HEINZ Dipper will be given out at participating locations, but only while supplies last.

Depending on the response, the company plans to expand distribution to other countries. It looks like a HEINZ mayonnaise variation is also being tested.
