Buffalo Wild Wings Is Serving A Protein-Packed Espresso Martini
Buffalo Wild Wings just decided to mash together two food trends that have been dominating the news cycle the past couple years: protein everything and espresso martinis.
The result is the Espresso Proteini, the chain’s first swing at the cocktail world, and it’s exactly as unhinged as it sounds.
The drink riffs on the classic espresso martini, but this one is built for wing people. It packs 10 grams of protein and is rimmed and infused with Buffalo Wild Wings’ fan-favorite Buffalo Dry Rub, giving the cocktail a savory, spicy twist that feels more bar-and-grill than velvet-rope lounge.
And because Buffalo Wild Wings understands its audience, the Proteini doesn’t have to stand alone. The drink can also be ordered as part of a $19.99 bundle that includes six boneless wings, which feels like the most on-brand cocktail pairing the chain could come up with.
The Espresso Proteini launches at select Buffalo Wild Wings locations nationwide on March 13 and will run through March 15, conveniently landing on both National Espresso Martini Day and Selection Sunday.
