Habit’s New Tempura Avocado Wedges Are Crispy, Creamy, And Straight-Up Addictive

Avocado’s reign as the ultimate “It” ingredient continues, and Habit Burger & Grill is taking it to the next level with their Tempura Avocado Wedges. These golden, crispy bites wrap velvety avocado in a light tempura batter infused with serrano and cilantro, delivering the perfect contrast of textures. Paired with Habit’s house-made ranch, it’s an instant obsession.

“I was inspired by all the fried avocado hype on social media,” said Jason Triail, Habit’s Executive Chef. “I wanted to bring that same energy to something unexpected. This is avocado like you’ve never had it before. The contrast of textures, the crispy, airy tempura with the rich, creamy avocado, makes it snackable, dippable, and totally freakin’ addictive.”

To mark the release, Habit teamed up with Foodbeast for the Avo-Lanche Experience, a one-night celebration of avocado culture. Hosted by Zane Hijazi and Heath Hussar, the event featured three levels of avocado-inspired artwork before unveiling the wedges with an unprecedented, synchronized first bite—the entire party crunching in unison at 7:15 PM. Because a game-changing snack deserves a grand entrance.

The Tempura Avocado Wedges officially hit Habit locations on March 19, but only for a limited time.
