In-N-Out Inches Closer To Opening Its First Portland, OR Location

Last year, In-N-Out captured its fans’ attention when it announced its plans to open the world’s largest location on the Las Vegas Strip. What once was exclusively a California phenomenon, continues to share expansion plans that go beyond the Golden State lines. This time, the famous burger chain has its eyes outside of Las Vegas and onto Portland.

In-N-Out has confirmed interest in exploring and opening a location in Portland, Oregon with the proposed development plan being near Portland International Airport just off Interstate 205.

According to the city’s public database, the California-based burger chain has already applied to an early assistance meeting with the city of Portland to discuss developing a drive-through restaurant at Northeast Airport Way and Holman Street.

If all pans out, this will be In-N-Out’s first location in Portland and its fifth spot in Oregon. The first In-N-Out location in the state opened in Medford in 2015 and it can now be found and enjoyed in Grants Pass, Keizer, and Roseburg. Lucky for Portland residents, the community is one step closer to being able to enjoy one of California’s state treasures.
