This ‘Better For You’ Croissant Has Sold Out Multiple Times, Has An 8,000-Person Waitlist

Croissants are on mine and plenty other folks’ Mt. Rushmore of pastries. In fact, with over $1 billion in retail sales, it’s safe to say that croissants are the go-to carb for a ton of people who love indulging in its buttery goodness. Now imagine that dollar figure going up exponentially, simply for the fact that a guilt-free or better for you croissant is available.

Enter Hero Croissants, a product from Hero Bread that boasts fewer calories, 2g net carbs, high fiber, and protein — all without sacrificing delicious indulgence. It’s no wonder that the demand for Hero Croissants has skyrocketed since its initial release, so much so that there’s an 8,000 person waitlist for them. After three product drops that have completely sold out, the hype from fans is starting to resemble a streetwear collab drop.

It seems to be all the goodness of a croissant minus the high calories and carbs. Big W. Hero Bread even partnered up with a French bakery in Sonoma, California to handcraft each Hero Croissant and its 24 layers of buttery, flaky wonder. Let me go ahead and be one of the 8,000 real quick.

There’s no release date yet on the next Hero Croissants drop, but make sure to sign up for that waitlist here to keep tabs.
