Taco Bell’s Spicy Pop Rocks Burrito Just Low-Key Returned To Select Menus

spicy pop rocks burrito is back

A couple of months ago, Taco Bell blew the internet’s mind when it tested out a Firecracker Burrito featuring “cayenne popping candy” in Orange County, California. Looks like that initial run went well, because the spicy Pop Rocks burrito is back in action for another trial.

Brand Eating reports that the Firecracker Burrito is currently available in Toledo, Ohio for a new limited-time test. The wraps don’t appear to have changed too much, as all of the ingredients (beef, rice, nacho cheese, sour cream, and red tortilla strips) are the exact same as before. Major alterations have occurred, however, in price. You don’t have to pay the extra 20 cents for the popping crystals this time, but the overall cost of both the Cheesy and Spicy versions of the Firecracker Burrito have doubled to $2.49 each. You can also order it as part of a $5 box, something that wasn’t available last time. The box includes a Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco, a Crunchy Taco, and a medium drink.

The spicy Pop Rocks burrito is back through mid-November, so if you’re in the area and didn’t get to try it before, definitely track down a Taco Bell and try this poppin’ experience for yourself.
