LeBron James Picked Up A Shift At Blaze Pizza And No One Noticed

Anyone’s first day on the job can always be a little nerve wracking. Even if it’s NBA super star LeBron James.

“The Chosen One” went undercover as a Blaze Pizza employee in Pasadena, in between games in Los Angeles, where he became affectionately known as new crew member, “Ron.”

“First day on the job, yeah, I’m learnin’,” Ron told customers as he greeted them from behind the counter. “I’m shadowin’. Really tall shadow.”

But, LeBron — or Ron, seemed to fit right in with the rest of the crew, joking about sports, informing guests about the menu options and helping out with some side work.

While some patrons seemed a little starstruck by the presence of the 6′ 8″, 250-lbs NBA Power Forward. It was hard to tell who actually recognized him.

“You look very familiar, very familiar,” a young lady said to ‘Ron,’ after he complimented her glasses.

“He looks like Dwayne [Wade]!” another female patron said.

“I get that a lot,” ‘Ron’ responded in agreement. “I’ve heard of that guy [Dwayne Wade] too.”

While Ron’s shift was cut a little short, because he need to go to his “second” job, the hashtag “#MeetRon” gives us the idea that Ron might show up during another shift.

Hey, with the minimum wage going up to $15 soon, working at Blaze Pizza might not be a bad side gig.
