This Knob Perfectly Controls The Temperature Of Your Stove So You Never Burn Dinner Again

There is finally something available that will help you cook without actually really having to cook. It’s like a microwave for stovetops, without the crappy microwave taste.

The Meld Knob is made to replace the current knob on your stove and automatically adjust the temperature according to what you’re cooking. Using the cookware you already have, its job is to make sure you never over cook, or under cook your food again and always have it perfectly prepared.

Using an app for iOS and Android, you select what type of meal you are cooking from hundreds of provided recipes. From there it records the temperature, checking if it’s cooking correctly and adjusts accordingly.

Meld easily reached its Kickstarter goal of $50,000, earning over $98,000 as of this writing, with 29 days left to pledge, so it looks like this perfect meal maker is actually going to become a reality soon. The price for the knob will be $129, and they’ll start shipping them out in October, 2015.

Of course, the Meld Knob is really meant for the casual cook, so don’t expect to cook up Gordon Ramsay-type feast.
