These Regular Guys Tried JJ Watt’s 9,000-Calorie Diet [WATCH]

If you’re not familiar with JJ Watt, he is a 6-foot-5, 289-pound American football player who not only eats up opposing quarterbacks, but also 9,000 calories-worth of food a day.

He’s a monster, and has to consume every single one of those calories to maintain his massive, athletic frame.

Two Obsev employees named Noz and Jason, aren’t massive, or athletic, but still tried to replicate JJ Watt’s daily meal, as Watt gave GQ the inside scoop on exactly what he eats during an NFL season:

Breakfast:

Oatmeal with blueberries and strawberries
Six eggs
Banana and apple

Second breakfast

Four eggs
Two slices of wheat toast with peanut butter and banana and honey
Two slices of wheat toast with jelly

Lunch

Three chicken breasts with whole wheat pasta and Italian dressing
Side of broccoli

Second lunch

More chicken breasts with mashed sweet potatoes
Steamed carrots

Dinner

Lamb chops with whole wheat pasta
Grilled asparagus

Second dinner

Filet with whole wheat pasta
Steamed broccoli

__________

Yeah, you read that right, he eats two breakfast meals, two lunches, and two dinners. If you’ve ever struggled while eating six tiny meals a day for a diet, imagine having to eat six massive meals a day. That is what it’s like to be a world class defensive end in the National Football League.

The two guys who attempted this were just a couple of regular dudes, working in an office environment, like you and I. They obviously struggled and could barely get through the two breakfasts, but found a way to scarf down a pretty solid amount of food. Noz finished the day with 7,200 calories eaten, while Jason only ate 6,800, both falling way short of what Watt puts down on the daily.

While they failed to meet Watt’s diet, they went well beyond the 2,000-calorie FDA recommendation, and actually destroyed The Rock’s documented 5,390-calorie diet.

Shout out to Noz and Jason for still eating a grotesque amount of chicken and eggs. You can’t say you can eat like a defensive lineman, but you can at least say you eat like a former WWE Champion.
