These Bacon-Scented Dryer Sheets Might Be The Perfect Father’s Day Gift

Smoke has a way of getting in your clothes, whether you want it to or not. This Father’s Day, Benton’s Bacon is leaning into it with the launch of its Smoke Sheets, limited-edition dryer sheets infused with the scent of its iconic smokehouse.
With Smoke Sheets, the brand brings that legacy out of the kitchen and into an entirely new form: a sensory experience you can wear or give to the hardest-to-shop-for dad in your life.
The Smoke Sheets set includes 10 vacuum-sealed organic cloth dryer sheets smoked in Benton’s smokehouse, three packs of Benton’s Bacon, and a Benton’s t-shirt—all packaged inside a limited edition engraved wooden keepsake box with an official Benton’s seal.
To make Smoke Sheets, organic cotton dryer sheets were hung in Benton’s smokehouse for two full days, allowing them to absorb the scent of hickory and applewood that defines the brand. Each one was then vacuum-sealed to preserve the aroma.
Smoke Sheets are the brainchild of Tilt Creative + Production, a creative studio with national clients including Audi and Capital One. From the scent to the packaging, Tilt worked closely with the Benton’s team to turn a deeply personal brand essence into something tangible inspired by the smoke, wood-fired ritual, and obsessive attention that defines Benton’s process.
“Smoke has always been the soul of the Benton’s experience,” said Darrell Benton, Benton’s Bacon CEO. “We’ve had many customers tell us they love smelling like our smokehouse for the rest of the day after they leave. Others say the t-shirts they take home from our store hold that scent even after a few washings. That kind of response always makes us smile. Smoke Sheets are our way of bringing that connection to life in a new form that’s fun, personal, and rooted in the feeling people already associate with us.”
Founded in 1947 in Madisonville, Tennessee, Benton’s has built a cult-like following for its old-school, hand-fed fire and slow-smoking techniques and craftsmanship, drawing praise from chefs like David Chang, Sean Brock, and Tom Colicchio.
