Sauce Packet Tortilla Chips From Taco Bell Are Coming To Grocers Nationwide

Taco Bell is getting into the retail business with their latest product. The taco titan is now creating sauce packet tortilla chips, flavored based on the tastes of three of their signature hot sauces.

The chips will be available in Classic, Mild, and Fire varieties. The Classic is a standard tortilla chip, while the mild has notes of cumin and chili pepper. The hottest of the three, Fire, has notes of jalapeno, paprika, and chili peppers.

When the chips hit stores, they'll be available in single serve (1 ounce and 3.5 ounces), medium(11-13 ounces), and large sizes (30 ounces). Price points for these bags of chips will be determined by each individual company carrying the chips.

In terms of who will sell Taco Bell's foray into grocery, Foodbeast has been able to independently confirm that 7-Eleven will be one of the major retailers carrying the sauce packet tortilla chips starting this May. We'll keep you updated if we learn about any other grocers and convenience stores that'll have the chips available then.

In the meantime, the only question left about these chips is whether we go meta and dunk them in salsa, or pull up a vat of guac instead.
