This Ice Cream Shop Is Releasing a Red Velvet Oreo Flavor

It was just last month that Oreo released its Red Velvet flavor and the world rejoiced. Now that it’s had some time to breathe on store shelves, it’s time for the food world to start getting creative with them.

Innovation numero uno comes from Davey’s Ice Cream in New York as they will soon be serving up Red Velvet Oreo Ice Cream to the clamoring public.

According to Grub Street, owner David Yoo talked about possibly incorporating the Oreo flavor at his East Village ice cream shop, and it will come to fruition this Valentine’s weekend.

The limited-edition flavor will be available from Friday through Sunday, and Yoo described its flavor as “frosting with a side of cookies.”

That’s cool, but we need to see this ice cream available in the freezer aisle.
