PBR & Grillo’s Make Pickle Beer Official
Pabst Blue Ribbon is putting the pickle straight into the beer with a new collab alongside Grillo’s Pickles.
The PBR x Grillo’s Pickle Beer turns the classic “pickle spear in a lager” move into a ready-to-drink release, built with a bright, tangy profile that dips into Grillo’s signature dill-forward flavor while keeping PBR’s easy-drinking base intact.
At 4.7% ABV, the beer stays light and sessionable, landing somewhere between crisp lager and full-on pickle hit. It’s a niche idea, but one that already exists in bars. This play just makes it official.
The drop also extends beyond the can. PBR and Grillo’s will roll out a co-branded NASCAR paint scheme at the Jack Link’s 500 at Talladega on April 21, pushing the collab into a bigger spotlight.
PBR x Grillo’s Pickle Beer hits retailers nationwide starting May 4, including Walmart, Safeway, Total Wine & More, and GoPuff, while supplies last.
