The OC Night Market is undoubtedly one of the hottest foodie events in Southern California. Last month's leg of their summer tour found 45,000+ attendees descending upon the OC Fairgrounds (gaahhhhtdamn that's a lot of people) to try the crazy food the market culminates.
While the event maintains hundreds of merchandise, crafts, arts and music booths, it's the food that people end up gawking over after each event. We hit up the last OC Night Market and did a little digging for this upcoming leg to gather 9 of the CRAZIEST things that will be available this weekend, the market's last Orange County stop for the 2015 summer.

FRUITY PEBBLES and NUTELLA NUT CHURROS
These crazy looking deep fried goodies come by way of Ridges Churro Bar. Their Instagram description claims "Warm and Crispy Nutella nut and fruity pebbles churros served with vanilla soft serve ice cream." Definitely look worthy of checking out!
Deep Fried MONSTER SQUID
One of our favorite items from the OC Night Market comes from Squid Roe and it's exactly what it sounds like, a GIANT deep fried MONSTER SQUID. PRO-TIP, you should have them chop it up for you because it's delicious in small bites. It's cool to get a picture of the entire thing on a stick, but it quickly becomes a mess.
Sweet Horchata Fried RAMEN DONUT = RAMNUT
Based off of Internet food creator sensation Culinary Brodown's late 2014 creation, the Ramen Donut aka RAMNUT features ramen that has been boiled in horchata for sweetness, deep fried, dusted with powdered sugar and available in a BUILD-YOUR-OWN format. You'll be able to mix and match fillings (chocolate or vanilla cream) and toppings (chocolate, strawberry, or cream cheese frosting). DO NOT MISS.
The INSIDE OUT Burger
Didn't get to try this on my last visit, but this thing looks delicious and I heard nothing but good things through the reverberation of social media about this guy last month. Ingredients stuffed INTO a burger patty? DOPE. Available at the Prime Flavors Grill & Catering booth.
SPANIMAL FRIES (SPAM FRIES)
I might be a bit biased here considering this item is available at one of the FOODBEAST PRESENTS booths, but these fries are next level. Available two ways, one as straight up SPAM FRIES served with a Sriracha Ketchup, Togarashi aioli (Japanese seasoning of red chili pepper, black pepper, sesame seeds, dried mandarin orange peel, green nori seaweed flakes) or as SPANIMAL FRIES, served with American cheese, Asian 1000 Island Sauce, soy glazed caramelized onions and Furikake seasoning.
Sushi Burrito & Samurai Super Nachos
Technically, you don't need to go to Night Market to get a delicious Sushi Burrito or their Sushi Nachos, but it's convenient and delicious and you might as well get it if the line is decent. They're both available off of the Samurai Burrito food truck (which is also a brick-and-mortar shop in Fountain Valley), but they're both delicious.
Free Pocky From The Pocky Truck
That's it. Not much of a decision here. Pocky is a Japanese snack food that's pretty much a chocolate-coated biscuit stick, it's delicious, and they hand them out for free at the entrance. DO IT.
