McDonald’s Fan-Favorite Snack Wrap Finally Returns

It took some internet bullying and a call-out from Jack In The Box, but McDonald’s has finally brought back its beloved Snack Wrap. The fan-favorite menu item, which came with either grilled or crispy chicken and was sauced with ranch or honey mustard, has been off McDonald’s menus since 2016. Fans haven’t been able to get over it ever since.

During its Q4 earnings call on Feb. 10, McDonald’s dropped some juicy news about upcoming chicken items: the long-awaited return of the Snack Wrap and a new chicken strip. McDonald’s president, chairman, and CEO, Chris Kempczinski, also confirmed that the Chicken Big Mac will continue its limited-time run, crediting the towering sandwich for boosting chicken market share in both France and the U.S.

McDonald’s hasn’t had a chicken strip on the menu since 2020, when it axed the Buttermilk Crispy Tenders. Before that, fans were hooked on Chicken Selects, which were pulled in 2015. Now, the fast-food giant is ready to get back in the game with a new take on chicken strips.

No official release dates yet for the Snack Wrap or the new chicken items, but keep an eye out for more updates.
