McDonald’s UK Just Released 8 Christmas-Themed Items
With news of McDonald’s cutting eight menu items in 2015, it should be expected that international branches would also be facing menu downsizing. However, it looks like McDonald’s UK has developed a menu specifically for the Christmas season.
The eight-item Festive menu includes:
20 Chicken McNuggets Sharebox
We’re guessing what makes this a Christmas item is sharing them with a loved one. Although we know more than a few people who would go to town on a 20-piece stuffed McNugget box.
Cheese Melt Dippers
Four pieces of breaded cheese dippers that are made with camembert with a tomato dipping sauce.
Festive Chicken Deluxe
A crispy filet of chicken breast that’s sandwiched between a toasted sesame bun. The sandwich is topped with grilled onions, Batavia lettuce, BBQ sauce and mayo.
Winter Warmer Cheese & Bacon
Essentially just a beef, bacon and cheese burger. What does, however, make it a winter sandwich is that the Winter Warmer is topped with a Snowflake bun. It’s dusted with flour.
Toffee Latte
A toffee latte that’s topped with whipped cream and a dusting of chocolate powder.
Galaxy Caramel McFlurry
A McFlurry mixed with Galaxy milk chocolate chunks and a Galaxy syrup.
Chocolatey Banoffee Pie
Your basic McDonald’s pie stuffed with Banoffee sauce as well as a chocolate sauce. Expect a mess.
Chocolatey Donut
A chocolate-filled donut topped with chocolate frosting and milk chocolate flakes. Calling it a “Chocolatey Donut” actually seems like the best fit.
The Festive menu will be available through Dec. 30 at all participating McDonald’s UK locations. Perhaps once the new year rolls around, all McDonald’s locations outside of the US will be facing menu reductions.
