Artist Creates a Room Covered in Lickable Chocolate Wallpaper

This edible chocolate wall may be the most heavenly death a chocoholic could wish for. Crafted by Scottish artist Anya Gallaccio for her newest installation at Jupiter Artland, Stroke houses a tiny bench surrounded by the aroma and sight of the dark chocolate walls — compelling visitors to touch and taste the edible structures.

Gallaccio calls her work “a performance and collaboration… making a piece of work becomes about chance – not just imposing will on something, but acknowledging its inherent qualities.” Guests are invite to interact with the edible walls in whatever manner they choose, from simply gazing to indulging in a taste.
