This Guy Is Accusing KFC Of Serving Him A Crispy, Deep-Fried Rat
So everything on the internet is true, right?
A man in Wilmington, Calif. claimed that his local KFC served him up a deep-fried rat.
Devorise Dixon posted up a photo and a video of the alleged rat on Facebook, and while it is pretty ratatouille-shaped, it’s still very questionable. It could just be a fried boneless chicken breast.
His post said, “WENT BACK TO KFC YESTERDAY AND SPOKE TO THE MANAGER SHE SAID IT IS A RAT AND APOLOGIZED, IT’S TIME FOR A LAWYER!!! BESAFE DON’T EAT FAST FOOD !!!”
Even though they probably shouldn’t, KFC said they’re taking this claim very seriously. They’ve also tried shutting down rumors through Facebook, saying that Dixon won’t let anyone see the product.
Someone even went full Sherlock Holmes and wrote an in-depth report, trying to debunk the guy’s photo. Snopes also labeled it as a “legend.”
If Dixon had maybe cut into the rat to reveal its mousey insides, Larry the Health Inspector would come through and shut things down.
