EXCLUSIVE: Halal Guys Just Confirmed Its Second Southern California Location

The popular New York-based food cart, The Halal Guys, just confirmed to Foodbeast its second Orange County location as it continues to work its way west.

The Southern California city of Long Beach can start planning to get its middle eastern food fix as The Halal Guys got approved to open shop in the Long Beach “Traffic Circle.”

The location is no coincidence as it is near California State University, Long Beach, the alma mater of two Halal Guys franchise partners, Paul Tran and Phil Hoang.

Sure, their first location in Costa Mesa hasn’t even opened yet, but at least Southern Cali residents know where they’ll soon be able to find Those signature gyros, and chicken and rice platters drenched in “White Sauce.”

As we previously reported on Foodbeast, the restaurant signed a franchise deal that will bring 50 restaurants to Southern California, along with expansion planned for San Francisco, California and the East Bay.

Outside of California, Halal Guys plans to open in Las Vegas, The Philippines, Washington, DC. and Houston, Texas.

Looks like the little food cart might someday be a household name.

Future location address: 1804 Ximeno Ave., Long Beach, CA 90815
