This Photographer Discovered Haagen-Dazs Lids Fit Perfectly Over Camera Lenses

It’s not unusual for photographers to lose their lens caps, so while in a bind, this Japanese photographer discovered that the very pint of Haagen-Dazs in his freezer, perfectly doubled as a 72mm lens cap.

They guy tried it on his Nikon, 24-85mm zoom lens and it fit like a glove.

As word got out, people started trying it on different camera brands such as Canon and Sony, and sure enough, the lids wrapped around the lenses perfectly.

Sure, lens caps aren’t terribly expensive, as a decent 72mm can be found on Amazon for about $8 or less, but you’ll probably trip people out with a Haagen-Dazs lid on you camera. Plus, it gives you an excuse to peruse the ice cream aisle as often as possible.
