General Mills Releases Election-Themed Cereal Boxes Featuring Iconic Breakfast Monsters

Our childhoods were haunted, not by the monsters in our closets and under our beds, but the ones on the cereal boxes sitting at the breakfast table. The three most prominent creatures were Boo Berry, Count Chocula, and Franken Berry.

In order to see who’s most popular, the General Mills is releasing election-themed cereal boxes as they hold an election called Monster Vote 2016. Cereal lovers can cast their votes on the site to get their favorite cereal creature elected.

Fans can win prizes like t-shirts, cereal boxes, or cash, as they cast their choices.

Since this is a kid-friendly promotion, the voting age has been vastly reduced to a minimum of 13 years. Sorry, 12-and-a-half-year olds. Voting ends on November 1.

Personally, we feel the Boo.
